The registration process is the first formal step in joining the CLE community — ensuring every learner is correctly onboarded, assigned to the appropriate pathway, and granted access to the resources required for academic and professional success.
Whether studying directly with CLE or through one of our Strategic Delivery Partners, the registration process follows a standardised path to maintain the integrity of our programmes and ensure every learner is set up for success from day one.
The registration process is designed to be clear, structured, and supportive. Each step ensures you are correctly placed, verified, and equipped before your studies begin.
Prospective learners submit their initial application, including any evidence for Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) or English language proficiency where applicable.
The CLE admissions team, or the relevant Strategic Delivery Partner, verifies that all entry requirements have been met prior to formal onboarding.
Once verified, learners are formally registered on the CLE internal system and assigned a unique Learner ID — the identifier tied to all academic records and Internal CLE Credits.
Upon successful registration, learners receive their credentials for the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), providing immediate access to self-paced study guides and recorded briefings.
The registration experience is tailored to your chosen mode of study — but in both cases, every learner is ultimately registered on the central CLE database.
Registration is managed centrally by CLE. This route is ideal for those undertaking distance learning who require flexible, self-paced enrolment with direct access to the CLE admissions team.
For learners studying at a partner institution, the local admissions office facilitates registration. All learners are ultimately registered on the central CLE database to ensure their Internal CLE Credits are officially recorded.
To complete registration, the following are typically required. Please refer to your specific delivery centre for any local pricing information or additional requirements.
A fully completed application form detailing your personal information, chosen programme, and preferred mode of study.
Valid photographic ID such as a passport or national identification document to verify your identity prior to enrolment.
Relevant academic certificates or a detailed professional CV for RPL mapping and programme level placement purposes.
Payment of the applicable registration fee. Please refer to your specific CLE delivery centre for local pricing and payment arrangements.
Once registered, every learner is assigned a dedicated tutor for ongoing academic support. This ensures that from day one, expert guidance is available to help navigate theoretical concepts and prepare for unit assignments.
Your tutor will provide formative feedback on professional assignments and offer academic mentorship throughout your CLE journey — whether you are studying directly or through a Strategic Delivery Partner.
CLE takes the security of learner data seriously. All information provided during the registration process is handled in accordance with robust data protection standards and is used solely for the purposes of academic administration and quality assurance.
